Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education.

This SIG would aim to draw together academic staff non-academic staff, and students with an interest in AI technologies to explore how these technologies are and could shape practices in HE. This SIG would be focussed on assisting understandings of the scope of AI in HE and helping its members engage with, utilise, and evaluate different technologies.

The SIG would host a range of seminars and workshops relating to different aspects of HE in which AI could be used, from co-designing module syllabi, lesson plans and seminar activities with modules leads, to assessments, marking, and feedback. From, technologies which could assist staff and students with neurodiversity, and different proficiencies in a. variety of skills.

Given that AI in HE is a contemporary topic, this SIG is likely to have wide appeal and complement RAISE’s existing SIGs.
